Honoured governance expert to share wisdom in Ashburton
An expert in governance who featured in the Queen’s Birthday honours list is to run two governance workshops in Ashburton. Professor Martin Devlin was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to education. He will conduct a governance workshop in Ashburton on June the 29th and the 30th. It is a 1 day course but we are offering 2 alternate dates.

Ashburton District offers help to relocate Christchurch businesses
Ashburton District Council and Grow Mid Canterbury are collating a data base of available buildings with space for businesses to temporarily relocate from Christchurch. This information will then be passed on to Christchurch businesses capable of relocating and continuing business.
